king is out

how intelligent seemed our king, is what i felt when i heard his speech in a press conference. 240 years has passed since we in unified nepal had the king and now it's gone. it's gone for good. i see now no probability and situation of its revival.

the king gyanendra left the palace with grace. the sympathy he's won after the speech is definitely much amongst we nepalis. it was a touching moment. he must be a giant of man, man of solitude to bear with situations as that. he contradicted my presumption that he would go into exile probably in india and settle there. on the contrary he stood to be in nepal and work for the prosperity of nepal. he also condemned and ruled out the possibility of upheavel and bloodshed before leaving the palace. also for certain that he didn't have any choice either than leaving the palace. it's all about the peoples mandate.

the facts he put lights on like that he was unable to grieve for the death of his brother and family, he had no property outside the country, he was not involved in the royal family massacre was a slamdunk to the critics and political leaders voicing against him.

i suppose he'd live an active life in nagarjun and waste no time hunting animals there. he's definitely going to come to limelight as a politician , or he'd try to restore his image laying the political foundation for his grandson dhirendra. he says he wants to serve for the country, so he'd be most possibly back in politics or else in social service..

.well moved move it was yesterday. gain sympathy, no blood shed and living in the same country and wanting to die serving in the country where he served though it was counterproductive.

king was out 14 days back of his crown and he's out of palace yesterday.

hope he sticks to what he says... do good for nepal....
